So far I've reproduced the problem on Brave, Chrome and Firefox, with Metamask encountering the same issue in all three browsers. I've rebooted my computer, and updated the Metamask extension, as well as the firmware on my Ledger, and installed the latest Ethereum app on the device. However, the problem persists.

Best to ask this on the Ledger or Metamask reddits. I suggest trying a different browser though. I use 3 different browsers and I think only one worked with the Metamask/Ledger combo.
